We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to support US Coast Guard (USCG) health IT modernization initiatives, including infrastructure transition, enterprise systems integration, and cybersecurity support for electronic health record (EHR) implementation efforts. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for planning, designing, integrating, and transitioning network and infrastructure capabilities that enable secure access to enterprise healthcare systems in a federal environment.
Responsibilities
Provide senior technical leadership for USCG health IT infrastructure and systems integration efforts
Lead the planning, design, and transition of infrastructure required to support enterprise healthcare applications
Support integration of medical facilities, users, and devices into secure enterprise networks
Provide expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and infrastructure modernization
Develop technical strategies, engineering plans, and implementation approaches for complex IT initiatives
Coordinate with government stakeholders, program teams, and mission partners to ensure successful deployment and transition
Support compliance with federal cybersecurity, network, and systems requirements
Contribute to technical documentation, engineering artifacts, and proposal responses as needed

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; additional experience may be substituted
10+ years of experience in network engineering, enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or cybersecurity
Demonstrated experience leading complex federal IT infrastructure modernization or systems integration efforts
Experience supporting health IT, EHR implementation, or medical systems integration in a government environment
Strong knowledge of IP networking, enterprise infrastructure, network security architecture, and secure systems integration
Experience working in DoD, DHS, USCG, or other federal environments
Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage large-scale implementation activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting USCG healthcare initiatives or federal EHR deployments
Familiarity with DHA, MHS GENESIS, Med-COI, or similar enterprise healthcare environments
Experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, data center connectivity, and network security technologies
Background in technical proposal writing and response to government solicitations
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, Security+, PMP)
