Description
Nuvitek is seeking a mid-level Technical Recruiter to support and execute end-to-end recruiting efforts for technical roles. This role is responsible for managing the recruiting lifecycle, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to help hire high-quality talent.
This is a 1099 contractor position expected to work approximately 30–35 hours per week. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering a strong candidate experience while supporting hiring initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from intake through offer stage
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team priorities
Source and engage technical talent using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels
Conduct candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and role alignment
Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process
Present qualified candidates and interview feedback to hiring managers in a timely manner
Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), specifically Pinpoint
Utilize Jira to track recruiting workflows, hiring progress, task management, and recruiting coordination activities
Support recruiting process improvements and workflow efficiencies within Pinpoint and recruiting operations
Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress
Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future hiring needs
Recruit for government contracting and federal support roles while ensuring alignment with compliance and hiring requirements
Stay informed on recruiting trends, market conditions, and technical hiring best practices
What You Will Bring
3+ years of experience recruiting for technical or technology-focused roles
Experience supporting government contracting or federal hiring environments
Experience managing multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment
Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and passive outreach
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Pinpoint
Experience using Jira for workflow tracking, task management, or recruiting coordination
Ability to manage recruiting workflows, candidate tracking, and interview coordination within an ATS
Understanding of recruiting processes related to government contracting, including compliance and documentation requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams
Strong follow-up and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high level of accountability
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
Experience recruiting for software engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI, or data-focused roles
Familiarity with ATS workflow automation or recruiting operations improvements within Pinpoint
Experience working in a startup, agency, or growth-oriented environment
Exposure to recruiting metrics, reporting, and hiring analytics
Experience supporting remote hiring processes
Experience building recruiting workflows, templates, or process automations in Pinpoint
Familiarity with security clearance recruiting or cleared candidate pipelines
