Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Shift

Essential Qualifications – What We’re Looking For
- Minimum age of 19 years and currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior undergraduate, or a graduate student, in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in crisis counseling, trauma‑informed care, or adolescent mental health.
- Strong commitment to a minimum of 6 months of service, with at least 12 volunteer hours per month, including three (3) four‑hour evening shifts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
- High level of digital literacy: own a reliable computer, high‑speed internet, and ability to navigate web‑based platforms (mobile devices are not permitted for this role).
- Ability to pass a background check and complete the required application process.
- Empathy, patience, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for supporting youth who are bullied, cyber‑bullied, or at risk of suicide.
