Job Title: Appointment Setter (Client Development Associate)
Reports to: Client Development Manager / Wealth Advisor
Job Summary
CAPTRUST is seeking a driven, professional Appointment Setter to support our client development efforts. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to firm growth by engaging prospective clients and scheduling introductory meetings with CAPTRUST advisors. You’ll serve as the first point of contact, setting the tone for a high-trust, consultative client experience. Key Responsibilities
Schedule Introductory Meetings
Proactively contact prospective clients via phone, email, and digital outreach to schedule discovery meetings with CAPTRUST advisors.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Establish rapport with prospects, identify high-level needs, and clearly communicate CAPTRUST’s value proposition in a professional and compliant manner.
Support Business Development Goals
Meet or exceed monthly activity and appointment-setting targets that contribute to new client acquisition and firm growth.
CRM & Data Management
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, appointment outcomes, and follow-ups using CAPTRUST’s CRM system.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with advisors, client service teams, and marketing to ensure a smooth handoff and a strong first impression for prospective clients.
Requirements
1+ year of experience in sales, appointment setting, client service, or business development (financial services experience preferred but not required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
Comfortable working toward goals and metrics in a structured environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and basic business software
Availability during standard business hours (some flexibility may be required)
