They are seeking an Entry-Level Insurance Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting team by preparing information for marketing, monitoring reports, and assisting in data entry and accounting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Preparing information needed to market new and renewal business
- Monitoring various reports for consistency
- Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing
- Make and follow through with request for missing information from outside sources
- Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
- Data entry into multiple internet based systems
- Use Microsoft Office software, (e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel)
Skills
- 1 year experience as support staff in an office environment or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- Eagerness to learn and grow as a team
- Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
- Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency
