To support a growing virtual primary care team, a South Carolina Licensed Telemedicine Physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered care remotely, dedicating at least 36 patient contact hours per week through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging while managing chronic conditions and promoting holistic well-being.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and evidence-based treatment planning for diverse patients
• Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions while providing preventive care and health education
• Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners, overseeing care consultation and chart reviews
Required qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school with active board certification in Family Medicine
• Current, unrestricted medical license in South Carolina and at least one additional state (CA, TX, or FL) with plans for further licensure
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency; telehealth experience preferred
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to physician collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing a high volume of patient interactions
